Any advice please on when it’s appropriate to use doktor - and when läkare ? What is the difference?

“Doktor” is more common and “läkare” is more formal. A “doktor” would probably say “jag är läkare”. “Att gå till doktorn” is practically an idiom.

Tusen tack. My “other” learning portal uses läkare all the time so it’s a little confusing. Noted!
