English Translation
I read books.
Tense? leggo?
I read books.
Tense? leggo?
According to DeepL, the Italian translation is “I used to read books.” An alternative is “I read books.” In the latter sentence, “read” is pronounced like the color “red” so it’s a past tense. I’m a native English speaker but don’t ask me the specific tense!
It is the gorgeous Imperfect tense;-) leggevo, leggevi, leggeva etc.
