In times like this, we should all pull the hank together.
Can anyone clarify the meaning of this? Is it UK slang?
I’ve never heard “pull the hank” in my life, and I can’t find anything relevant for it on google. I wonder if it’s a really bad auto-correct for “we should all pull together”.

I cannot comment on the English translation but "Strange is archaic.
It is simply “Strang” today.
The expression itself is common.

“hank” is the English translation for “Strang” (when talking about ropes, yarn oder hair).
It seems someone translated this sentence literally rather than as the idiom it is. It’s supposed to mean “to pull as a team” or, in other words, “to cooperate”, “to work together”.
The source material that Clozemaster uses (the database Tatoeba) doesn’t even contain the English “pull the hank” sentence anymore. It seems it was deleted from the source material.
