I’m only applying what I learnt from the recent peggio vs. peggiore discussion.
I think it comes down to what you would say in the positive: Il tuo era buono: migliore, or Il tuo era bene: meglio. But I’m sure both are fine in speech and informal writing.

Ah ha, gentile signore, allora mi sento meglio, as opposed to “sono il migliore” lol! In the Italian section of our many-languages forum we are also discussing the use of “riguardo a lei” and “su di lei” so as with everything context is vital. A dopo…

I missed this discussion, but to me “migliore” would be “Yours was the best”.
