English Translation
I was really angry when I found out that I had been lied to.
‘Ich war auf one hundred eighty…’?
Ist das wirklich ein richtiges Aussprechen?

Yes, dict.cc lists it as an expression: auf 180 sein
(can’t say I’ve ever heard this one, though… dunno how common it is)
Yes it is a set expression for spoken German. Not everyone might use it, but some people do.
@Lernen_und_Fahren @Aki-kun OK, that is actually strange to hear German speech and then ‘one hundred eighty’ all of a sudden (instead of ‘ein hundert achtzig’), but I guess I need to get used to the anglicisms here and there…
I’m not sure that @Lernen_und_Fahren or @Aki-kun picked up the point that you were making about the English words in that phrase.
In all 5 examples of auf 180 in the new German idioms collection, the Clozemaster voices pronounce the numerals in English, i.e. as @prokrastinyator stated auf one hundred and eighty, not the expected auf hundertachtzig.
Ah, okay. Yeah, I misunderstood. I’m sorry.
We would usually say “hundertachzig” (though i wouldn’t be surprised if some youth would say the English one instead, if they use the phrase at all).
