English Translation
I am not the person I used to be.
if I were a woman, should the sentence then be “Ich bin nicht mehr die, die ich mal war.”?
I am not the person I used to be.
if I were a woman, should the sentence then be “Ich bin nicht mehr die, die ich mal war.”?
Welcome, and yes, exactly!
If you translate the English sentence very literal, everybody has to say:
“ich bin nicht mehr die Person, die ich mal war.” (die Person (fem.))
I am not the person I used to be.
Please forgive me for not making a grammar comment on this sentence. I only wish to convey that it cracked me up the first time I heard it, and I still love saying it.
