Even though I am tempted to translate this as ‘I’ve got a pink slip’ which in the US may not refer to a provisional drivers license. DeepL translates this as “I’ve got a learner’s permit”, which is a privisional license. Of course, it seems that Italian driving licenses are pink anyway?
