Ah, ho capito! If it is any consolation, when we speak quickly, we might say “He held her in 'is arms” ;-))

Where I was born, you would probably hear ‘e ‘eld ‘er in ‘is arms :wink:

I wouldn’t worry too much, you will be understood with or without the ‘h’s
