Is chaufför interchangeable like this, please? In English we only use Chauffeur to mean someone that drives for a living. If we are talking about driving as a SKILL (as here) we would always say driver.

I think the word can be used in a broader sense in Swedish, but “bilförare” is the more common word. You can also use “bilist”.
