Is the Oxford comma used in Italian?

Hi @Macossay. I would have written in E "She was blind, deaf and mute (so no comma after deaf). In Italian I note from all the books I’ve read that it seems the comma is also used in much the same way. I sometimes have to think twice if it is needed or not and go by the rythmn of the sentence.

And this from another book "Stringo mani senza ascoltare nomi che, tanto, dimenticherei dopo un secondo. Una volta rimasti soli, lui se ne esce con la classica domanda: «Allora, ti piace?»
