English Translation
He lent me two books, neither of which I have read as of yet.
Very formal! Can we get some confirmation whether ‘von denen’ would not be more idiomatic?

Sounds grammatically wrong to me/unnatural the way it is.
I would indeed use “Er lieh mir zwei Bücher, von denen ich bisher kein(e)s gelesen habe.”
I guess it’s the eternal genitive vs. dative debate, but i’ve never even heard/read it used like in this sentence. I’m not sure if this sentence would be even correct in older German, but maybe it’s a quote from somewhere (?).
Tatoeba has the alternative version:
“Er hat mir zwei Bücher geliehen, die ich beide noch nicht gelesen habe.” which also works well, in my opinion.
