Einen Versuch ist es, denke ich, wert.

English Translation

I believe it’s worth trying.

This is the first time I’ve seen an English-style comma splice used like this in German. Would this be a common way of saying this in German, or would this be considered unusual? I would have expected either “Ich denke, einen Versuch ist es wert” or perhaps “Einen Versuch ist es Wert, denke ich”.

All three word orders are equally usual.
Personally, I do not feel much difference in emphasis on various parts in the written sentences, even if the general rule is, that first and last parts of a sentence are stressed.

Orally, emphasis in all three variants are more dependend on intonation.
