English Translation
She stayed at home all day.
Could you also say e rimasta in casa?
She stayed at home all day.
Could you also say e rimasta in casa?
To my knowledge, stare, restare, and rimanere are practically interchangeable in the meaning of “to stay”.
I read the translation as “she’s been home all day” rather than “stayed home”. I think the meaning is very fractionally different. “She was at home all day/she’s been home all day” is slightly less emphatic than “She remained/stayed at home all day”. I would use the latter eg “She stayed at home all day because of a heavy cold”. And then “She was at home all day on Friday as it was a holiday”.
Am I rambling:-) Difficult to explain.
