Du bist so ein Ferkel!

What does this even mean in English? This is translated “you are such a pig!” … does this word have the same connotation in German that “pig” does in English (i.e. greedy, selfish, rude)?

Its kind of a thing parents would say to a child that his messing with its food. There’s a difference betwenn Ferkel (piglet) and Schwein (pig). Schwein does not have the friendly undertone Ferkel has.
