  • Can wyjść also mean ‘to reveal one’s thoughts’, as implied by this context? I’ve not seen it used in this context before. Thanks! (The English translation could also refer to a physical exit from somewhere, if used literally but it seems less likely)

Not really. “Wyjść” cannot be used to mean “to reveal one’s thoughts” the way “come out” is used in English, and it’s mainly used to refer to a physical exit. It looks like whoever translated this interpreted the English sentence in a very literal way.
