Just to clarify: for grapes l’uva singular feminine stays feminine in plural -le uve.Uva is also plural for grapes . For eggs l’uovo singular masculine becomes feminine in plural -le uova . Collins has la droga - drugs pl. So, looks like this famous phrase is ok , singular or plural. I also found this pearl in one of the forums : L’uomo italiano è una droga in like “take it or leave it” category.
