My man; you were arguing not two posts ago:
that “put on airs” was not to be used in Clozemaster because it was, in your experience, not had been used ever by anyone (when there was clear evidence of the sentence having been used).
And yet, here you are, arguing that “The mention of the author is missing.” is a better translation than “The author is not mentioned”. I mean, the joke writes itself 
You simultaneously want sentences that match word for word the sentences they are translating, while maintaining the same gramatical structure (across two different languages, lmao), but also sound natural to a native speaker; and not any native speaker, beacuse, and I quote (from the same post as before):
this expression has never been uttered by anyone […] in my entire life
I mean…
By taking a look even two minutes at your post history, it is clear that
a) you do not understand that languages do not function all the same way, and that you cannot simply change words as if they were blocks, and expect them to still be fine sentences. And therefor, that a literal translation does not equal a good translation
b) that you refuse any form of counter opinion, basing your judgement on your own experience, excluding any other’s, and using it as the final decider on whether something is wrong or right.
I am not here to tell you to change you mind, but clearly Clozemaster is not the tool you need in you language learning journey, since it’s heavily reliant on crowd sourced translations that come from different people who translate things diffently, and that usually translate by meaning and idiomatically, rather than by form.
I am going to suggest to you, however, to do yourself a favour and find some other app, or service, that better fits your learning style (particularly, given that you seem to be studying german, and the resources for that language are not lacking). Or, at least, if you really choose to keep putting yourself through the horrible experience that seems to be for you using the app, at least refrain yourself from posting your suggestions on the forum, since they usually do not generate any kind of consensus on their correctness (and so potentially confusing other learners) and you also do not take any kind of feedback positively, which makes the whole point of posting on a forum utterly useless.

Actually, and I don’t know why I am even typing this, because I am clearly speaking to a wall; you can think about Clozemaster the following way:
Despite of how it’s presented, the whole goal of the exercise is not to translate one sentence to another. Think about it rather this way. You have a sentence in your target language, in which a word is missing, the goal is to understand the sentence well enough so that you can infer which word is needed. To achieve that goal, you have a few aids. You can set a hint, you can show (I think the first letter of the word), you can have the app tell you whether what you are writing is right or wrong by writing it in green or red, OR, you can have a similar sentence, in your original language, that will (hopefully) help you understand the context around the sentence, to be able to guess the word that is missing in the target language. Hence the (sometimes) not so literal translations (not wrong, just not as literal as you, apparently, would like them).
Try that mindset, if you feel like it, but as I already said it’s pretty clear to that Clozemaster is not for you. The solution, instead of trying to change something that just doesn’t fit you, would be to use another of the plentiful resources available out there, one that better matches your expectations. It will definitely be a better experience for everyone involved

I personally do not think it is just inference. I was merely suggesting another way to go about the app, since the one you are currently using, judging from your forum posts, seems to be so completely unbearable to you (but hey, better attack me for trying to help, I guess).
As for the “german helper” as you said, if it was on the forum, it was just another user, as you and me, who had taken from their personal time to try to help you, and just gave up on you when you responded with that “attitude” you have been using to interact with pretty much anyone - as if all the people here are there to serve you, just because you decided to spend a few bucks a month. There is a support team for the app; you can contact them directly. And while there are people from the staff on the forum, most users aren’t. We aren’t paid to indulge your constant rambling.
On the topic of paying, you can indeed spend your money however you see fit. Again, it was just a suggestion on my side, as it seems to me that it’s a bit masochistic to spend it in something that so visibly annoys you. But hey whatever floats your boat.
Finally, on responding to your points. I am not dodging responding them; I have simply decided that it is not of any use to do so. Firstly because any counterargument that has been presented to you (at least, in your recent posting history), whether it be with facts and proof, or just the opinion of the responder, has been answered from you part with a straight up attack to the person who wrote. So yeah, not very useful to try to convince you of anything. And secondly, because your language “points” consist of you completely disregarding and discarding a translation by virtue of not being something you have ever encountered, which, as a mesure of how “correct” something is in english, is a view that ranges from incredibly narrow-minded to completely stupid, depending on how much of the english speaking world you have been in contact with.
You are very much encouraged to tag me in anything you feel like tagging me in, not that it will be of any use, but it will be nice to be on the “most-tagged” users, if they ever choose to go through the stats and publish a ranking : )
You keep saying that I do not grasp what you are saying, and simultaneously tell me to address your points - which I have been doing. So it seems to me that either you yourself do not understand mine, or, worse, you don’t understand your own posts; which would make you little more than an LLM: a probabilistic algorithm that spews words, without being able to comprehend what it produces. If you did understand what I wrote, you would see that, as stated, I do address many of your points. What I will not respond to, is the original post in which you make a language “points”.
Feel free to ignore my posts from here on, it’s probably for the best; no need of arguments of the level of “Well, that doesn’t match my personal experience, therefore it’s false” in reasoned conversation.
I see that you have been going around and editing your latest posts to soften them down, add a question that allows for conversation, and replying in a (more) civilised manner than your previous contributions. So that’s a start
