Devi solo darli un piccolo aiuto.

English Translation

You have only to give him a little help.

Isn’t this missing a “g” in darli, i.e. Devi solo dargli un piccolo aiuto.

On Tatoeba, the English is the original from which this Italian sentence is derived.

The same author has another sentence as a translation from the English - Dovete solo dargli un piccolo aiuto.

Is it safe to assume therefore that this is just a typo?

Interesting, I read it as “give Them a little help”. Definitely dargli for “give him”.

Aiuto!

The indirect object would still be ”gli” for “them.” I think it’s an error.

Si dice:
darli per a loro
Dargli per a lui.

(pd: Ho chiesto a un nativo)
