I continually struggle with Ert - but especially here. If “ert” is directed at multiple people than should DESK not be plural? How many people are sitting at this desk? ;o)
This is either directed to several people (sharing the same desk) or semi-formally to one person. If there were many desks it would be “era skrivbord”.

Thank you. I don’t know why i have such a blind spot with this pronoun. One day it will make sense and I suspect it will feel like being hit around the head with my Prismas.
