Why are there such depressing sentences on Clozemaster?
More depressing is that Clozemaster teaches such an old-fashioned German.
Nice sentence if you want to study Goethe or Schiller, but an everyday expression would be “Sterben muss jeder.”

Actually, I am - by age and even more by inclination - a fan myself.
However, using intentionally old-fashioned expressions depends on knowing that they are old-fashioned. A learner of a new language is normally not capable to differentiate.
Nice to spice your language with the occasional quote but “Gaze out my friend, yon vile horseless carriage has taken dreadful aim on thee.” instead of “Watch out for that car” might not make you popular.
