The thief stole my wallet.

Okay, I need to know, from Germans, what do you colloquially call your wallet? If a friend asks you, “do you have your wallet?” is it Geldbörse, Geldbeutel, beutel, Brieftasche, etc? I have seen all of the previous words used as “Wallet” during translations.

Also pretty common, and what I use, is “Portemonnaie”, either written full-french like this, or germanized “Portmonee”.
