Am I correct that this is supposed to be pronounced with a long “ü”, making this sound distinctly different from wüsste, which has a short “ü”? I looked it up on Forvo and the pronounciations given are consistent with this. But the voice on Clozemaster pronounces “wüßte” the way I would pronounce “wüsste”.
