La traducción al castellano es una traducción directa del inglés.
La traducción correcta sería: Esto no se hace.
“sich schicken” or “sich geziemen” is very old-fashioned and can be used when you want to express to “act how it’s expected of you” or “act how it’s appropriate for someone of your status”.
Nowadays, average Germans don’t talk like that anymore.
It’s not exactly the same as the general “One doesn’t do that.” It’s more like “Someone of your rank/status/age/class/wealth doesn’t do that.” Comparable to “Act your age.”
A more modern expression would be “Das gehört sich nicht.” or simply “Das macht man nicht.”
