I think it’s correct, but it sounds very archaic. It sounds like a 100-year old grandpa might say. So I think the question whether it’s correct is moot.

Nowadays, you would say, for example:

“Das Problem ist, dass ich zurzeit knapp bei Kasse bin.”

or

“Das Problem ist, dass ich momentan knapp bei Kasse bin.”
