Oh absolutely I have done that too, thinking I could do more than one word in the phrase! Learned my lesson there.
Here is an example of my customs
Spero che {{siano}} felici.
Se vuoi {{prendertela}} con qualcuno, prenditela con te stesso.
Then I may enter the same sentence in like
Se vuoi prendertela con qualcuno, {{prenditela}} con te stesso.
(I also enter in the same sentence a few times and move the cloze word brackets around to different words in the phrase because I really want to get to know these phrases and I want to have more practice with them)
One thing I have noticed however is to be careful entering in my phrases and ending with a “.”
No spaces after…
I noticed that I have a habit of always putting a space after my sentence and then I move down to add the translation.
I was able to get it to work. But only on iPad
It’s all good except for the absolutely annoying incomprehensible low robot computer voice that I hate now.
I am certain with the problem, has to be the fact that I would type in a sentence then put the punctuation at the end and then autopilot me hits space before going down and entering translation.,so maybe the computer counts it wrong because of that?
But that does not explain why some sentences won’t play at all or let me enter anything and freezes up
Other than that I am lost as to why some work and some don’t
Oddly I can only enter phrases into my collection on my Chromebook but to play the collection doesn’t work as well-
But I can play those sentences on my iPad better (however on iPad I can’t add custom sentences like I can on Chromebook)
I’d kind of like to be able to do it all on one device
I have no idea why
Anyway thank you so so much for taking time to reply I appreciate it greatly
