To indicate that the act of being on the grass is prohibited, “Betreten (des Rasens) verboten!” is used in German.
That is also how translation works.

I should have given more context, I was doing listening lessons with the volume off to translate the full sentences myself. The English translation was so far off that I couldn’t get it, as it only accepts one specific answer instead of allowing nuance. But that is my fault for doing it that way
