I guess this sentence is incorrect, as “bandomas” is wrong an cannot be used in this context.
Aš bandau išmokti ispanų kalbą. - this is the correct sentence considering the fact, that object is trying to learn, not just learning.
Please correct me if I am wrong, Lithuanian native speakers.
