You can also say “Ausstattung” or “Ausrüstung” if you want to learn the German words.
With the world becoming more global, English words find their way into the German language. Sometimes, when it’s a new concept coming from an English-speaking part of the world to Germany, it would be silly to force a German translation upon the English word. But “Ausrüstung” has long existed as a German word. I personally don’t see a justification to prefer the English word here. Perhaps some German wanted to sound more worldly than he/she is.
