Joseph is a growing son, a growing son and comely to behold: the daughters run to and fro upon the wall.
One english translation reads “Joseph is a fruitful bough, a fruitful bough by a spring; his branches run over the wall”, which at least continues the metaphor,. Clozemaster’s translation seems to abstract this all away.
