How does this translation compare to 「駅までは3キロ以上もある」？

Don’t mix up 以上 with 超. I’ve explained the details on a related sentence discussion here.

The original Japanese sentence sounds very unnatural, though… It should be:

駅までは3キロ超ある。（さんキロちょうある。）or

駅までは3キロあまりある。(See the Definition 4-1)

駅までは3キロ強ある。（さんキロきょうある。）
