Hi, the translation in Spanish is ‘‘Él está leyendo’’ (He is reading).
Shouldn’t it be Él está en la clase(¿lección?)? in English: He is at the lecture.
The translation is correct. If you mean lecture, it would be “bei der Vorlesung”.
“beim <verb nominalisation>” is one of the possible progressive forms of german.

Thank you, this is useful. I thought at first that it was a verb mistakenly written, so I was dubious.
